As with many non-profit groups, we rely on the generosity of our supporters. Although this means we have no wages to pay, we still have expenses. Maintaining an office in the City of Perth is not cheap, but a prominent central location is necessary for easy public access and to get our message out.
Rent, electricity, phone/fax, printing, internet service, website hosting, water and other government charges all have to be paid. Like most non-profit groups we do not receive government funding; therefore we have to raise funds via public support, donations and other activities.
