Posted by David Reynolds | October 1st, 2009
This Year PAWS has been invited to the Home Coming of the GLBT Pride Parade, we intend to demonstrate that “Everybody Matters” by putting on a PAWSome float with animal costumes, people from all walks of life with a message that All living creatures deserve to live their lives without being exploited, tortured, mutilated or slaughtered by humans.
Neither prejudice nor ignorance have ever been accetable excuse for injustice, and they certainly aren’t today.
Our message is a simple one “Everybody Matters”
The parade starts at 8pm on the 31st of October from the corner of William and Brisbane Streets and travels down William street turning onto James street and ending at Russell Square.
If you wish to participate in this event please contact Michael Berry by email mberry@paws.org.au
We recommend getting down to Northbridge early to get a good viewing spot.
