A GROUP of kangaroos has been killed after being targeted by car hoons deliberately driving at them and mowing them down.
The animals, gathered in their hundreds in the grounds of Morisset Hospital, near Newcastle in NSW, had been savagely set upon.

Hospital staff said dozens of kangaroos had been killed in attacks during the past few months, including one at the weekend. Yesterday animal welfare activists urged the culprits to “stop the slaughter”.
